Job Title: Bar Supervisor

Job Summary
Responsible for safely and efficiently providing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food. Has a strong knowledge of food & beverage in general and our menu in particular. Carry out assignments allocated by the Restaurant and Bar Manager to maintain a high standard of cleanliness as per laws and company standards

  • Conduct the opening and closing Bar duties.
  • To provide under the direction of the Restaurant and Bar Manager a prompt and efficient service in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Assignment of daily duties, based on scheduled staffing, to meet hotel needs and effectively communicate any shortages or needs to management
  • Collects payments and operates cash registers for drinks and/or food served following company established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions; secures your cash bank at the end of each shift
  • Provides information about products to guests and all his team members
  • Makes sure that all his team members are updated in the latest drinks, mixers etc available in the market
  • Follows alcohol training and procedures in preventing guest intoxication and underage consumption Support the hotel in achieving high performance levels in service and profitability and build a culture that promotes high team member morale and performance
  • Provide strong leadership, motivate staff to reflect a high level of enthusiasm and guest satisfaction
  • Respond to guest and team member concerns or complaints in a timely and courteous manner
  • Effectively coach, motivate, lead and resolve employee concerns by timely communicating on-going positive and constructive feedback, and keeping manager informed as needed
  • Review daily time and attendance punches in payroll and maintain attendance spreadsheet (log), accurately reflecting reasons for occurrences

Key Requirements
  • The ideal candidate required to have two (2) years of previous professional Bar Supervisor or excellent Bartender experiences.
  • Graduated from a hotel management school diploma and hold a bartender certification
  • Ability to work in a team and characteristics like flexibility, steadiness are indispensable and good assertiveness
  • Excellent communication/guest service skills, both written and oral, in English and Indonesian.
